This large scale development project in Beijing, China was an opportunity to work with a large international architecture firm as an outsourced design consultant. The project is for 88 two-story loft units broken into 6 separate buildings. We started with a rough site plan and zoning guidelines and developed the buildings to keep the building elements repetitive (and therefore cost effective), as well as providing some individuality to the buildings and break down the scale of the repetitive units.
